Falling in Style with these 3 Transitional looks!

Hello, lovely! It is my last few days in the motherland & we are soaking up every bit! I am looking forward to getting back to you guys recharged & ready to serve you up some fashion goodness! Anyway I wanted to show you 3 of my favorite fall transitional looks & why I think they work.

  1. Dress & Boots

I feel like it doesn’t get any easier than a dress & boots to look instantly chic while trying to navigate through the seasons. This allows you to show a little leg but also stay mostly covered so you don’t freeze your buns off.

2. Cropped & Cool

If you know me you know I hate pants so I definitely utilize maxi skirts all year round. I pair this one with a crop top, denim jacket, perforated booties, & a nice fall hat. The denim jacket I can wear on or off like the scarf. The crop top just shows off a tiny bit of skin. The knot at the maxi allows me to breathe along with the perforated booties!

3. Sleeveless Sweater

The sleeveless sweater is underrated! I’m obsessed with this olive one. I paired it with my faux leather leggings, a scarf, & booties! The scarf is just the right weight to keep me warm if I get cold.

You probably noticed a trend here. Each look a little bit of skin is exposed. Not saying you need to expose your body for transitional style but it’s a balance. Spring/spring is all about bare legs & open toes. When fall comes we cover ourselves up. This transitional time can be difficult to determine what to wear. My rule of thumb is to have a balance! Give it a shot for yourself!

Well babes! I’ll be back in the states on 9/30! Talk soon!

Alright now that you have your FREE gift let's get to why we are all gathered here today, fashion! Scroll down through the pictures & we'll break it down.

I am literally obsessed with this dress. When I wear it people tell me that I remind them of the salsa dancing emoji LOL! I originally bought this dress for R & I's trip to Aruba (in 22 days) but I can't stop wearing it. Believe it or not I got it at Old Navy  AND it is on sale right now for ONLY $24.97 ! This dress has a lot of fun features from the trendy cold shoulder to the sassy ruffle not to mention the colorful print that makes a statement of its own. I love dresses for the instant outfit effect, it couldn't make dressing in the morning more simple. I topped off this look with my fun tassel earrings from my July's Rocksbox, a blue clutch, & a pair of wooden platform sandals.

Well dolls I hope this look has given you some inspo for the remainder of the summer! Enjoy your FREE gift & make sure to stop by Old Navy. I hadn't shopped there in a long time but they look good for men & women! Anywho till next time fash dolls!

P.S. I am looking for a social media marketing intern so if you know anyone please have them send me an email at gigi@fash-ology.com. This would be a for college credit position. Thanks in advance!

Embroidered Boho Babe

Hi, beautiful! Happy Friday! I hope this post sees you well. We are gathered here today to discuss embroidery. If you haven't noticed it is one of the hottest trends of the season. You know that Frank's Red Hot Sauce commercial? The one where the sweet innocent old lady is like, "I put that sh*t on everything". Well embroidery like this woman & her frank's is literally on everything. This boho trend can be seen on dresses (as shown), skirts, jeans, pants, shoes, handbags, shirts, etc. I'm not kidding it is literally everywhere.

Embroidery can be found in a variety of colors and range from subtle to more prominent patterns. Whatever your flavor it is easy to find with the world at your finger tips. I am personally loving this dress from Tobi   that is on sale for only $29.00 and available in other colors. I have paired this dress with cognac wooden block heels from Metrostyle. This dress will definitely be a summer staple in my closet & will be packed in my suitcase for Ricky & I's vaca to Aruba in September.

Well fash dolls as always thank you for reading. I hope that my neon white skin didn't blind you too bad & that you leave feeling inspired to dabble in the boho inspired embroidery trend. It is definitely hanging around for the spring/summer 2018 season as the catalog I work on is already developing embroidered product. It will be worth the investment. Till next time dolls!

Stay Sassy & God Bless!

P.S. You can find other amazing pieces at Tobi & get 50% off your first order :)

Gobble Gobble

Happy week of Thanks fash dolls! I am thankful for you, my readers. Without you there would be no Fashology or fash doll community. I appreciate you following along & really hope you glean helpful advice & inspiration from my posts.

Let's get to the fashion! This year my hubby, Ricky & I are hosting our very first Thanksgiving in our first home. It is all super exciting & a lot of work. I want to cook & host in style, this colorblock dress does just the trick. I love this camel/black combo for this time of year it is neutral & warm. I kicked it up with a pair of animal pumps. With a bottle of wine in hand what's not to love?!

Dressing for the holidays is totally based on your personal style. I love to dress up so I accomplish this with a dress & pumps. Maybe a pair of jeans, cozy sweater, & boots is more your style. Whatever it is do your thing! I hope you all have a fabulous holiday.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Craving Scallops

It was a humid summer New England afternoon a gal, her bestie, & a camera decided to embark on an adventure for scallops!

Okay maybe not scallops as in the food sense but isn't this scalloped trim dress adorable?! It was so humid this day that the scallops weren't really cooperating. I got this coral number at K Posh Boutique. Scalloped hems are one of my favorite spring/summer trends. They are playful, girly, & feminine. You can find scalloped hems on just about anything: skirts, tops, dresses, & shorts!

Try this trend for yourself while the summer is still here! Shop the stores now because there are major sales everywhere.

Also enjoy a sweet treat of 15% off at K Posh Boutique by using my code >GIGI15<. You will receive free shipping on any order over $25.00.
